Smooth and creamy with a light coffee flavor. The draw was just as I've been told, super tight. After running a draw tool through it several times it opened up a little, but nowhere near what I would consider enjoyable. The wrapper had a few imperfections that negatively impacted the burn but I was able to manage. That was until I reached the final third. The wrapper split and there was nothing to do from there. Had the flavor and aroma not been as good as they were I might have chalked it up as a total bust. The question is was it worth the $40 to smoke a Cuban? I'm personally glad I had the experience, but I could choose a number of different cigars for a fraction of the cost that provide a much better experience. I'm curious to hear if any of you have had a Cuban that you felt was worth it.
