Tatuaje

This Tatuaje came recommended by my shopkeeper, as he knows I like stronger and full bodied cigars. This Miami Seleccion de Cazadar certainly ticked all my boxes. The nice, dark wrapper was attractive, and showed no visual defects. The absence of a 'main' band doesn't disturb, and the footband fits the cigar.. After cutting and lighting, both the draw and the burn were pretty good. Tastewise, the most obvious notes for me were Dark Chocolate, Warm Spices, Coffee (Espresso), and a hint of Cinnamon. All in all, great smoke!

Oliva

The Oliva Serie G Robusto was my very first cigar and was recommended by my local Cigar & Spirt store, where I already used to buy my Whiskies. From the start, it was enjoyable. Light enough for a newbie smoker, and after a while I even started to find some flavors: Wood, Creaminess and Nuts... that's what I used to, finding similar notes in Whisky, but I also got a new taste: a leathery flavor. While not very expensive, I found the Oliva Series G a very enjoyable smoke, that I can only recommend to every other beginning cigar smoker.
