First impression on the test draw was that GTO stood for "Gross Tasting Object". Lighting the cigar and smoking it didn't do much to change my mind. The head of the cigar was mishaped for some unknown reason. Didn't pay attention when I purchased it and it's gotten the same treatment as all my other cigars. So apparently the quality control on the GTO Vintage is not very good. The side that was deformed was also very rough in texture. Since I'm still pretty new to cigars, so I can't say as to why it was. Other than it's another indication of poor quality control. Taste was just ashy from beginning to end. Nothing on the retrohale. Just made the cigar taste worse. Lots of smoke, which I like, but that alone can't make up for the taste of this dirt stick. Gave up smoking it half way through. Guess I'll go light up a GOOD cigar now to get the taste it of my mouth. Definitely will NOT be buying anymore. Unless it's to give them to someone I hate. 😉
