Sunday Gravy

Crooked burn line on light up. But I think that had to do with the shop employee trying to light it for me. Usual flavor notes of wood with pepper on the retrohale. But AFTER the first retrohale I started getting a definite vanilla note. Something I've never experienced with any cigar before...interesting. Burn line cleaned up a lot going into the final third, but still somewhat crooked. Never had to relight during the entire smoking session. It did, however, become very hot once it got down to the nub. The Sunday Gravy Gabagool is an excellent cigar. Definitely will buy again.

Great Sunday smoke

Construction is very good. The wrapper color is not as dark as a madero, but still pretty dark. Used a V cutter on this cigar. Definite pepper note on the initial retrohale. First third shows a great burn line. Pepper note still so strong that it actually makes me sneeze. Also has a wood-like flavor note as well. Already getting a definite nicotine buzz and I was just getting to the end of the first third. Going into second third the burn line started becoming pretty uneven but self corrected quickly. Second half of the cigar was basically a ”rinse and repeat” of the first half. Burn never went back to perfectly straight, as it was during first third. The only thing that really changed in second half was the really strong pepper note finally mellowed out. Overall this was an excellent cigar at a great price point. Definitely buying again.

I'd like to try this as a toro since it didn't last long enough! Great cigar.
