Pepper on the retrohale. Pretty good burn. A little wonky but nothing that requires any attention. Ash is nice and white. Holding on pretty well, too. My nose doesn't pick up subtle scents, so about the only flavor notes I can come up with are "pepper, spice, and earth". The burn finally required a couple of touchups on the final third. But no relights were necessary. This one is the last in my sampler. Wouldn't mind getting more of them.

Not a terrible smoke, but nothing to write home about. Had the slightest hint of chocolate on the test draw. Retrohale produced notes of charred wood. Uneven burn, even after repeated touchups. Required one relight. The ash is soft as well and prone to falling off easily. Had a very long smoke time for a robusto style cigar. Over an hour and a half! Of course that includes all the touchups and relights (I stopped smoking after it went out for a second time). Overall, I guess it could be considered a decent work-in-the-yard cigar.
