Sweet tea on lips, tea on palate on light up. Seemed to have construction problems on the first third, poor smoke, hard to keep lit which I hadn’t experienced with other DE cigars. That improve some into 2nd third but had to smoke it faster than I normally smoke to keep it going. Favors became more woody/nutty with less of the sweetness in the beginning. Final 3rd flavor became less enjoyable to the point of finishing the cigar. Have a few in the humidor and hope after some resting, next stick will be better. If not most will not try again.
This stick turned out to be not my cup of tea (pun intended). The only two flavors I got out of it were the ever-present Acid "secret formula" sweetness (which I expected of course) and an intermittent bitter hint of fairly strong tea. Pretty boring overall and definitely won't buy again. Ironically, it turned out to be the best burning cigar I've had in a good while; nice and even all the way down, no touchups required. Beautiful construction, nearly vein free. Too bad DE didn't come up with a less bitter, more complex flavor. Rested 4 months in humi. Cigar Medic showed 66 percent humidity before lighting.
