Fairly strong for my liking

Excellent cigar after a few months in the humidor resting. 1st Third - sweetness, dark and bitter chocolate as the primary flavor with hints of cream, oak, leather and earth. Lots of smoke production with great draw and straight burn. 2nd third - Now dark chocolate is primary with espresso beans, cream oak, hay, leather and pepper. 3rd third - Sweetness is now primary but dark and bitter chocolate notes are still strong. In the background espresso beans, leather, earth, nut, cream, oak and black pepper. Very complex profile with smooth transitions and a steady medium strength.

Phenomenal vintage blend! The pepper and spice came through right away, but the ever so slight chocolate and leather profiles kept it from turning bitter. Burn and draw were just about perfect. Great smoke.

Taste was the highlight of this Rocky. Nutty to start, transitioning to a more chocolatey note. Finishes a little more peppery. Good smoke, but had developed a ring split in the wrapper midway and needed a little more attention than I would like.
