For such a cheap stick I enjoyed this cigar. Mild flavors and pairs well with my bourbon. Good ash on it after the first third. Flavors began to come together in a more intense chorus in the second third. Still holding a well constructed ash finally falling off at around the haft way mark. With the bourbon slightly dulling the senses it becomes quite enjoyable with the slight spice and cedar tastes. Touch up on the burn required towards the end of the second third. The flavor begins to mellow out in the final third and the finish of the wrapper is nearly gone. The remainder of the stick is simple. Giving simply an earthy note and maybe a hint of leather. Enjoyable cigar. Would be a good humidor stuffer.

• Date:10/25/2023 • Cigar: Quorum Classic Double Gordo • Drinking: Woodford Reserve Kentucky Straight Malt Whiskey • Weather: 70 F, very light breeze • Smoke Time: Don't remember • Draw: Medium firmness, the 60 gauge is just a tad too large for my preference, so it feels like I don’t get good smoke density until about halfway. • Burn: Bit of a pain to light and needed regular touch-ups until the halfway point where the burn stabilized. Near the band the cigar seemed to be rather damp and required me to pull harder and more often to maintain good smoke production. • Ash: Length was less than average, especially after the first ash. Due to the uneven burn and touch-ups, the ash shows alternating bands of almost fully white ash with darker grey sections. • Mouthfeel: Light/Medium • Nicotine Strength: Light/Medium • Unlit Flavors/Smells: Chocolate covered raisins, leather, forest floor on the nose. Dry pull has sweet baking spices, cinnamon, and brown sugar. • Smoking Notes: First puff I get light toasted nuts and slight yeast notes. Retrohale is spicy but not too harsh at all. I already have a good feeling about this one! A few puffs in I notice the smoke has some saltiness to it. A few more puffs and there are some pleasant oiliness/fuel flavors, and the spice has disappeared making the retrohale completely silky smooth with no sting if you allow proper time between puffs. As the initial third winds down the spice comes back in a big way. I get dark chocolate, coffee, and leather. I take my first sip of whiskey here and the next puff is much the same but with some of the roasted nuts I initially tasted. The second third I am noticing wood notes along with the same chocolate, coffee, and leather. The spice is more subdued at this at this point. Into the final third the spice comes rears its head once again and the saltiness reappears. • Conclusion: This was quite enjoyable, especially once the first third was winding down. The spice coming and going combined with the pleasing main flavors evolved in depth made for a dynamic and engaging smoke. When I took off the band it started to unravel slightly as it had become rather damp also requiring more puffs to stay lit. I think this needed to be dried out a bit more. I’d give it another chance. 3/5

• Date: 10/06/2023 • Cigar: Quorum Classic Toro • Drinking: Water • Weather: 75 F, no wind • Smoke Time: 60 minutes • Draw: Very easy to pull, but also there was a small hole halfway that made it even easier • Burn: Easy to light. Canoed consistently the whole smoke on the side where the hole was and needed a lot of touchups. Once I reached the hole the burn evened out for the remainder. • Ash: Average • Mouthfeel: Light/Medium • Nicotine Strength: Light/Medium • Unlit Flavors/Aromas: Sweet raisins and cedar smells and flavor • Smoking Notes: First pull immediately notice the spice, black pepper, roasted and toasted. Retrohale is spicy but fairly smooth. Predominant flavors are wood, spice, and roasted nuts. By the second half I noticed some chocolate. Flavors do not evolve dramatically but do so in a somewhat predictable and pleasing manner. • Conclusion: Initially the construction left a bit to be desired as it burned unevenly, and I ended up with more tobacco bits in my mouth than usual. Still, as the burn seemed to even out once past the hole, I hesitate to hold the burn against it until I give it another shot. The tobacco in the mouth is a consequence of the user of short filler. Despite the drawbacks there was no harshness, no bitterness, and the flavors and aromas were pleasant and just complex enough to keep me interested. Doesn’t excel in any particular way and is not exciting, but certainly not boring. At the low price these come in at, this is an easy choice for a daily smoke and I will be picking up a bundle. 4/5
