The cap had a rather unpleasant taste to it on first light and for the first few draws. Taste got better as the smoking session progressed. A little bit of spice notes on the tongue. Burn has been mostly straight, but no touchups were needed. No relights either. Draw was a little tight. But rolling the cigar between my fingers helped to improve the airflow somewhat. Ash was tight and held on quite well. Overall a decent smoke. Approximate smoking time was a little over an hour. Looking forward to trying others in the American Viking line.
Draw was kind of tight, even after running a reamer through the entire length. But not so tight that it was unsmokeable. Smooth taste with a very minor taste of pepper on the retrohale. An excellent everyday smoker.
