La Flor Dominicana

Definitely a cigar that gets better with age. Still not a favorite but after sitting n the humidor for over a year it definitely has a better flavor than the previous two I’ve tried with much less time in the humidor. Also having a lighter drink pairing helped as previous smokes were paired with bourbon.

San Cristobal

Nice cigar only issue I had is I caused a split in the wrapper when I punched it. Flavor profile decently good. Like to try other cigars from this maker.

Macanudo

Taste really popped with sip of coffee. Nice morning mild smoke

La Aroma de Cuba

Great smoke. Paired great with an old fashioned

Arturo Fuente

a sweet medium strength smoke. Many people said full body, but i don't quite get it yet, though there is a strength to the tobacco, which maybe means full body. 3.5 stars right now for flavor as I'm getting used to the sweetness.I don't have the experience to go deeper on this rating, but i like it.

Nub

My first Nub. Wasn’t expecting much from this but I really enjoyed it. Not really a size I’d go for but I got it in a monthly club shipment and was pleasantly surprised.

Oliva

Quite possibly the best Oliva cigar I’ve had. Looking forward to trying the toro I have, this was a robusto. Great flavor and draw. Had to touch-up the burn a few times but it was a very windy night so that’s to be expected. This will definitely be a box purchase in the future.

Rocky Patel

An excellent budget priced smoke. The first Mulligans line of cigars that I’ve smoked and did not disappoint. Tastes better than any smoke I’ve tried at this price point. (Received in a cigars of the month club shipment, but would definitely consider buying a bundle for a great daily smoke)

Still not a favorite but much better after spending 8 months in the humidor.

My Father

Perfect draw and a very straight burn line all the way down. Great flavor. Definitely something I’d smoke again.

Fonseca

Good smoke. Can definitely tell that it’s a My Father blend which isn’t a bad thing in my opinion.

AJ Fernandez

A bit strong for me but a great cigar none the less. I wanted to give one a try fairly quick to find out if I thought it would be worth buying a box and I believe I just might. Usually I prefer to let any AJ cigars rest for at least a few months because I find them better the longer they are aged. This one I feel will be exceptional after some time resting in a humidor.

Padron

Extremely loose draw made for a somewhat unpleasant smoke and also lead to a rather fast burn.

My Father

Can’t go wrong with anything from My Father. This is definitely one of my favorites. First third didn’t want to stay lit and had very little smoke but after that it burnt great. Love having this cigar with a sweeter or chocolatey drink.

Pre light smell reminded me of the first cigars I smoked 20+ years ago. Once lit it did not disappoint. Excellent mild flavor making for a great start to the day.

Not bad but pales in comparison to the rest of the Oliva line.

Diamond Crown

Another great smoke from Diamond Crown. I do prefer the Julius Cesar but this was overall a decent shot experience.

Better than the last one of these, but the cap started cracking and I got worried about it coming apart. Was able to smoke about half of it this time. Poor draw, again.

It wouldn't smoke. Tight draw then tunneled. Threw it out.

Very flakey burn, ash fell of every half inch or so. Otherwise a great smoke

An excellent morning cigar to start a long holiday weekend. Nearly a two hour smoke that paired wonderfully with a maple pecan flavored coffee and a few chapters from a good book.

Just ok. Nothing special here. Very tight draw, and doesn’t want to stay lit.
