A nice, smooth Connecticut wrapper. Well rolled, Compact cigar with a perfect draw and complex notes of cedar, toasted bread and baking spice. Very good cigar for the price.

Micallef

Nice middle brown, smooth, oily wrapper. Well packed, no soft spots. Great draw, good smoke production. Toast, light roast coffee notes from the start. Not a lot of transitions. In the last third leather takes over. Smooth, balanced cigar with a clean finish. You can smoke it down to the nub, no harshness. Very nice cigar for the price.

Rustic looking cigar: dark, bumpy, veiny, oily wrapper. Well packed, no soft spots. The cold draw gives a metallic, mineral taste on the tongue. Good draw, plenty of smoke. The cigar starts with a pepper blast and dark coffee, licorice notes. The pepper mellows out in the second third and woody, burnt notes take over. The end is still strong coffee, earth and licorice. A strong , full bodied, bold cigar. Not especially balanced in my mind. Won’t buy it again.

Not a Bad cigar: well packed, no soft spots. Burn was a bit uneven, ok smoke production. Notes of hay and bread on the first third. Earth and leather in the second. Not much change in the final third. Overall not a bad cigar, but not my thing.

Smooth middle brown, virtually veinless, oily wrapper. Well rolled cigar, well packed, no soft spots. The cigar lights up and offers a good draw and plenty of creamy, lush smoke. It starts with a strong, spicy pepper blast out of the gate. After 10 minutes the spiciness mellows out and gives way to rich, earthy and espresso notes. Complex, spicy, well made cigar. Very good burn. Not my favorite flavors though.

Fantastic cigar with a great flavor. Smoked very well for me at 65%rh as opposed to several other ones that weren’t that great at 65%. Will be a cigar I keep in the lineup.

Well made cigar. Well packed, no soft spots. Medium dark habano wrapper. Balanced flavor, toasted notes, some pepper. Not very complex or any noticeable transitions. Quite good for a mixed filler cigar and the price

Ok cigar. Unfortunately, the wrapper split although it didn’t prevent me from smokig it just fine. Slight bitterness from the get go. Not in my wheelhouse flavor wise

Dark, smooth and oily maduro wrapper. Well packed, no soft spots. Good dream, plenty of creamy smoke right out of the gate. Sweet and slightly (black) peppery start, smooth, no harshness…ok cigar, but nothing special though

Nice, well rolled cigar: firm, almost no give. Flavorful, medium strength. Not a fan of the 60 ring gauge though.

Very nice, small cigar. Strong, flavorful, a bit harsh on the palate. Enjoyed it

Perdomo

Beautiful cigar: a perfectly rolled, almost vein free, Ecuador Connecticut wrapper. Well packed, almost no give. The wrapper smells of hay. Some sweetness in the cold draw. Very good draw (a bit open for my taste, but still great). Plenty of creamy smoke for starters, hay and some pepper, The second third brings noes of must and leather forward wthoutlosing the pepper. Smooth, balanced, stronger and fuller bofi than your average Connecticut cigar. Perfect burn: straight, razor thin burn line. It turned bitter in the last third… Nice cigar if you like Connecticut with some more flavor and body

Beautiful dark, toothy wrapper. Well packed, firm cigar. Good draw, slightly open, plenty of smoke. Bold, flavorful cigar, pepper, oak and cedar out of the gate. After the first third coffee and leather show up. Cigar is strong, quite a punch. Lovely cigar, box worthy. The best Montecristo I’ve ever had.

Ferio Tego

Beautiful torpedo shape. Shiny, oily brown reddish wrapper. Perfect draw out of the gate, plenty of full, chewy smoke. Umami, leathery notes with a hint of pepper to start. Full flavored, bold, meaty cigar. Strength is medium. Licorice, coffee and leather notes in the second third. A good, bold and balanced cigar… Not my favorite flavor notes though

Aganorsa Leaf

Nice, tightly packed cigar. Firm to the touch, no soft spots, just the right give. Smooth, oily, reddish brown wrapper with some visible veins, well rolled, nearly invisible seams. Beautiful, opulent, classic band. Good draw from the start. First third starts with nutty, cedar notes and some sweetness. Pleasant, balanced and smooth flavors. Good burn with an almost straight, thin burn line. Leather and liquorice notes appear in the second third, the burn gets briefly a bit wonky, but it self corrects quickly. In the last third liquorice is the dominant note and some earthiness takes over from the leather notes. Balanced cigar, medium strength and quie enjoyable.

Drew Estate Blackened

Well packed cigar, firm, no soft spots. Smooth wrapper, the veins of the biner show through though. Smooth, starts with a pepper blast, grassy and creamy notes. Less pepper in the second third, grassy hay and cream, and now some walnut notes adding a slight bitterness, Good draw throughout, medium smoke production. Perfect burn with a razor thin, straight burn line from begin to end. Smooth, balanced flavors and some pepper to spice it up. Might become my second favorite connecticut cigar after the RP Edge Lite, that has a better price point. Very good, perfectly constructed cigar.

United Cigars

Short, stout cigar. Light Connecticut shade wrapper. Visible veins, and seams. Tightly packed, almost no give. Good draw but not a lot of smoke. Hay and some spice from the start. One inch in, some sweetness and earthy tones appear. At the end bitterness develops and kind of spoils the experience. Unfortunately, the wrapper cracked and I had to repair it with some Vaseline. Pleasant, mild aber flavor packed. Not my favorite flavor, but quite nice for the price ($5.99)

Well packed cigar, no soft spots. Nice middle brown habano wrapper, visible veins. Slightly tight draw, good, creamy smoke. Very mild flavor, no pepper whatsoever, smooth out of the gate. Bread, chestnut and vanilla aromas. Unfortunately, it turned bitter in the last third. Too mild and mellow for my taste.

Crux

Nice, dark, oily maduro wrapper. Well packed. No soft spots. Good draw, good burn. Black pepper blast out of the gate, mellows later. Earthy, leathery notes. Not very complex, but smooth and balanced, medium strength cigar. Not my flavor profile though, and too expensive for what it offers

Nice dark broadleaf wrapper, good looking, well packed cigar, no soft spots. Good draw, plenty of smoke. Taste notes are leather, earth, some mustiness. Very smooth and balanced cigar. Not my favorite flavor, but a good flavorful cigar nevertheless, especially for the price

Nice, dark cigar. Loose draw . Spicy start, a blast of flavor. Earthy, coffee notes in the first third. Pepper goes back in the second third, and leathery otes take over. Complex, very flavorful. Great cigar

Awesome cigar: beautiful dark, oily wrapper, great draw, good, steadyburn throughout. Plenty of smoke. A flavor bomb and a pepper blast from the start… it mellows after a few minutes an earthy, coffee notes enhance the pepper. A very balanced cigar with tons of flavor and strength (keep some sugar or chocolate nearby). Great , clean finish.
