First third - smooth with chocolate oil finish. Second third (pic) 30 minutes in, picking up spice, maybe pepper, especially in retrohale. Nice ash. Paired with espresso from pappy coffee beans and milk chocolate pieces.
Great smoke at a good price. Fairly loose draw and needed a touch up and a partial relight. Ash was also loose; fell on its own twice and I tend to ash earlier than I need to. But great flavor and an overall enjoyable smoke.
Great smoke. I’m a huge My Father fan so when they released these I couldn’t resist splurging on one of each. I’ve only ever had a few Tatuaje cigars so nothing to compare this to really. It is definitely a quality smoke and excellent flavor. Draw had a few tight spots that cleared themselves up fairly quickly and the last inch the burn got off pretty bad but the smoke was about done by then anyway. Spent nearly 2 hours enjoying this. Is it worth the $60 price tag? Probably not, I can’t see myself spending that again but I’m glad I was able to get my hands on one of them.
