Liked everything about it.

Very bland flavors for me personally. Very spicy, lots of pepper on the tongue during inhale and no reduction on the retro. There were a couple of smoother, less peppery draws but very very few. Not the biggest fan. Rocky Patel has fallen short of my expectations on multiple sticks now but I have a few other various blends to try before completely writing off the brand.

So a much shorter review than usual for me. I enjoyed this particular cigar while catching up with an old friend. As always, do note that my sense of smell is not good so your mileage may vary. Construction was excellent. A few small veins to trace and seams were smooth to touch. The foot and had quite a bit of adhesive so I ended up marring the wrapper a hair before lighting. Prelight smell was cocoa, leather, and cedar. A sharp pepperiness on the foot. Draw with 11mm punch had just a touch of resistance and never clogged during the session. Overall flavor was cocoa melting into smooth espresso and leather. Sweetness abounded as did a creamy smoke. Burn needed a few touchups, but I smoked this one slowly due to conversation. A seriously tasty cigar, but I did find that the sweetness meant the flavors remained in my mouth for quite a while. If that puts you off, bring a stiff drink or some mouthwash to purge afterward. I need to pick up a few in a smaller vitola. A more nuanced and lengthy review would be extremely similar to Philip "Katman" Kohn's.

Burn was a little off. Flavor and appearance were great.

A bit bitter

Prominent yet subdued spice with a slight earthy taste, chocolatey smell on the wrapper. Good even burn.
