Consistent review. A smooth blend of wood, pepper, and leather. Bold without being harsh. A smooth draw and pretty consistent burn until the end. 15 months of rest now.

Espinosa

Recommended 👍 Light leather core with hints of vanilla. Am I smelling fresh baked cookies 🍪 I need more of these.

La Palina

Doesn't seem to fit the bill compared to the other LP Classics. Flavor was nothing more than simple tobacco, and although the draw was okay, the burn was absolutely horrible. I had to touch up or relight the cigar about every half inch or so. Definitely not worth it.

Macanudo

TL;DR - Wood and hay. Great paired with coffee ☕️ Recommended in the cigarillos vitola as a morning or daytime smoke👍 Aged 10 mos ⏳️ Pre-light scent is hay and sweet tobacco. Great construction; the lightly plugged draw opens later. Initial light-up impresses charry wood; transitions to tangy wood 🪵 A mineral or metallic flavor develops mid-tongue. Dry grass or hay shows up mid-smoke. Light flavors and light nicotine. An easy smoke. Pairing with coffee ☕️ has been good. Tea should work too. I actually think this might be good with a sipping tequila. Parting thought, be sure to give these 6-8 months aging at a minimum. The factory seems to be minimally aging these before shipping; if at all.

ACE Prime

A very basic (super cheap) cigar with notes of basic wood & spice. The appearance may be underwhelming, but the draw and burn for top notch. A good choice for a super-budget smoke.

E.P. Carrillo

Dark toasted oak core. Wood flavors are intermittently tangy. Black cherry hints at the finish.

Drew Estate

Duplicate review. A slightly "darker" version the original. Still has a super sweetened tip. Other notes are off coffee, cocoa, and a little spice. Soft feel and a lot of smoke.

Oliva

Full of spiced coffee and chocolate notes, the cigar just never seems to miss. Definitely worth one visiting time and time again. The draw is smooth, while the burn stays fairly even all the way down.

El Coto

A cheap budget cigar to experiment with. Surprisingly, it's a little better than the $2 price range. The initial draw was airy but started to smooth out and the burn treated itself pretty well. The flavor is mostly of leather with a touch of sweetness. Nothing complex.

E.P. Carrillo

TL;DR - dark toasted oak core, light spice and distant intermittent raisin. Recommended 👍 9 mos aged ⏳️ Pre-light faint maduro tobacco. Expert construction and draw. Light-up is dark, toasted wood 🪵 Burn is great. Light spice teases the tongue. Will it be spicy or not? As the first third comes to an end, the toasted wood has mellowed and a faint raisin comes and goes 👌 Toasted oak retrohale. Approaching the end of the second third, the core flavor has been toasted wood. The raisin hint arrives more often in the final third. There's not much of a flavor journey here, yet it has been a very good cigar. Medium to strong strength nicotine; light to medium flavors. Pair with sweet meats 🍖 (BBQ?), and sweet drinks like cola. Whiskey and Islay scotch seem obvious also. Not sure that coffee ☕️ would be a good idea.

La Palina

Updated review, better with rest. Honey, cinnamon, spice, cedar. Everything blended together very well. The draw was great, and the burn was much more level than the stogies I smoked last year when they first arrived.

Liga Privada

Abnormal review. Sweet and spicy as expected, but not very smokey due to burn issues. The pepper notes hit harder than expected from its look. The draw was great, and the construction seemed great as well, but this particular stogie would not stay lit, which is rare for Undercrown lines.

Buena Vista

Consistent review. Smooth, creamy, maple notes throughout. Medium bodied tobacco. Adequate draw and clean burn. With 18 months in the humidor, the spice notes remain very balanced.

El Rey del Mundo

Consistent review. 16 months rest on this one. Rich flavors full of cocoa, coffee, and baking spice. Clean draw and very even burn. Slow burn time. Rather oily and aged wrapper.

La Aurora

Consistent review. A semi-bold blend of wood, leather, and coffee. Touches of pepper come as well, but mostly on the retro. The wrapper is toothy and well constructed, providing a clean draw and even burn. Great cigar.

Maria Mancini

A cheap and simple cigar. Flavor notes consist of wood, earth, and some spice. Although well blended, the flavor strength is minimal. Draw was adequate and smoke output was surprising. The burn did tend to run a bit.

Macanudo

TL;DR - dry tall-grass and light herbal. A pleasant and simple smoke. REQUIRES AGING. Great coffee pairing ☕️ Recommended 👍 Aged 8 mos ⏳️ Important: this was a terrible cigar without aging. Pre-light is green tea 🍵 Pleasant and mild. Good construction. Goldilocks draw. Light-up easy. Herbal and dry tall-grass notes. Pleasant and simple. Pairing well with coffee ☕️

A consistent review. Smooth but very peppery hit blended with clean tobacco. A touch of woodsiness aids in a good smoke. Clean draw and decent burn.

Excellent Short Smoke for when your in a hurry, EXCELLENT BURN....Always have this in my Humidor..

Dissident

Consistent review. Super dark and robust cigar that gives you a hit of pepper at the first draw before leveling out. Although the profile is darker, the overall feel is still creamy to a degree that keeps it bold without being too harsh. Great draw and burn as well.

Rojas

Maybe it's just because I had breakfast and some toast but this cigar does have a toast flavor It seems. Got the sample pack from cigar page but the Corona is one of my favorite vitola's anyway.

Illusione

Updated review. Solid construction and smooth draw. Woodsy, earthy, and notes of dry cocoa. Chalky to the texture that brings an interesting tone. Burn has gotten even better with age.

Liga Privada

Consistent review. This one brings out some pepper, cedar, and leather in a very well balanced mix. The draw seems like it might be airy, but it stayed consistent and provided a well even burn. Smooth cigar throughout.

El Viejo Continente

A surprisingly smoother smoke than expected. Flavor consists primarily of leather and nuttiness. Very smooth draw, but the burn had to be corrected often.
