La Aurora

Consistent review. A semi-bold blend of wood, leather, and coffee. Touches of pepper come as well, but mostly on the retro. The wrapper is toothy and well constructed, providing a clean draw and even burn. Great cigar.

Foundation Cigar Co.

First off, this one had a very open draw. Took a bit for the flavors to produce, but when they did, it was full of creamy wood and intense nuttiness. The burn only needed a little help along the way. The Corojo blend seems to be a little spongier than the Maduro version.

Adventura

Constant review. Such an amazing cigar at each attempt! Notes are slap full of cocoa, coffee, and a little vanilla at times. Good burn and a bold feel the entire way. Consistent flavors presented throughout.

La Aurora

This cigar had an incredible draw that produced a high level of smoke output. The flavor profile consisted primarily of earth, various spices and cedar. Touches of red pepper appeared at times. Very clean burn lines as well.

Aganorsa Leaf

A very smooth cigar. The flavor portrays notes of sweet cedar and subtle spice. The draw was clean, and the burn only needed a few touch-ups. Unfortunately, the second band caused a minor issue coming off, but the caused crack corrected itself.

Diesel

Repeat review. Complex and bold notes of spice, pepper, wood, and chalky leather. A full profile of various flavors that ebb and flow the entire way. The draw was consistent compared to the last smoke.

Viaje

This one is a pleasant surprise. There's just a touch of pepper mixed with creamy chocolate. The burn was razor sharp, burning incredibly slow, but the very smooth burn.

Ortega

Bold, dark, oily, and full of coffee. A cheap budget smoke that smooths out with more rest, this time sitting at over 15 months in the humidor! A very pleasant draw and a highly consistent burn throughout. Had gotten better each time.

Adventura

Repeated review. Talk about an enjoyable complex cigar! Smoothly transitioned notes of chocolate, leather caramel and coffee. Added subtleties of toast and spice show up as well. Great construction and draw as well.

San Cristobal

This one starts with an immediate intense hit of pepper. That strength quickly backs down and blends well with other notes of coffee and wood. The construction is very firm that leads to a dead even burn. The draw is smoother than expected.

Warped

Second time review. Smooth profile with sweet honey-like notes mixed with bright pepper. An easy draw and very even burn. Smooth overall.

Asylum

A sweet and somewhat floral aroma. Profile notes are completely different, portraying some mild grassiness with general cocoa and coffee. The varied wrappers blend together and cancel out any strength or bitterness. Spongy and smooth.

2024 Edition - full and bold with deep aged tobacco. Flavors consist of wood, vanilla, and cocoa. Firm construction with a clean draw and absolutely even burn.

Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust

Very aromatic notes of wood, possibly cedar. The pipe tobacco notes come through prominently throughout. A slightly tight draw that opened up fairly soon. A very even burn and great construction.

Perla del Mar

Velvety smooth but incredibly good. Immediate punch of dark chocolate at first draw. Other notes of leather and earth also come through. Great draw, but the burn refused to stay even.

Perdomo

A surprisingly good regional cigar. Notes are strong on the pecan with a little touch of pepper. Extra tones of wood and cardamom come in later. Extremely smokey output, great feel.

Warped

Sweet honey-like notes with bright pepper. An easy draw and rather even burn. Smooth overall.

Adventura

Killer cigar! Smooth transition notes of chocolate, leather, coffee caramel and coffee. Added subtleties of toast and spice show up as well. Great construction and draw.

Stolen Throne

A little tight but very smokable. Flavor notes consisted of very creamy chocolate, leather, and medium pepper. Silky to the feel and well constructed.

A very sweet tip that has nothing else in flavor besides basic tobacco. Construction was good this time, but the burn was still uneven. Second time trying, only because it was received at an event. The draw was slightly better after an additional month of rest.

West Tampa Cigar Co

A very well balanced cigar full of cream, coffee, and direct oak flavors. The construction is a tad soft, which makes it burn fast, but it still burns evenly. Smoke output is also strong due to the airy draw.

Plasencia

Smooth and nutty profile. Milder flavor than the father 1865. Clean appearance, great draw, great cigar.

Room 101

A spice and cedar mix that almost mimics that of cinnamon. The draw was clean, but the thin wrapper tried to overheat a few times. Great aroma that didn't quite translate over to the smoke, but still a good cigar.

Black Works Studio

The cigar starts out with a pretty even balance of sweetness and spice, that soon after turns into more earthiness and pepper. The draw and burn stayed consistent throughout with a construction that feels only slightly spongy.

Aganorsa Leaf

Both sweet & salty, this is indeed an interesting blend. A slow even burn with a draw that is only a tad tight. Smooth and enjoyable all the way.

Hiram And Solomon

Solid cigar with instant aroma of floral notes. The flavors continue with that floral essence on a milder scale with hints of cedar on the back end. A little dry on the draw. Very well constructed for a pleasurable smoke.

Nat Cicco

A very well blended cigar with absolutely no harsh aftertones. A mix of cocoa, nutmeg, and very mild pepper stay true through the entire cigar. Clean draw and level burn until the end.
