One of my top 5. So easy going and super smooth

Great smoke! I got a hit a sweet spice on the tip of my tongue throughout the cigar with some hay, chocolate and coffee to round it out with the mini robusto box press. Small touch ups needed maybe twice Great cigar for the later afternoon and on. Definitely won’t weigh you down. Hasn't beaten any of my staples but something I would keep a few on hand to share with friends after dinner.

Very smooth smoke. Mild on the retrohale, even though it's a Maduro. Burn line wasn't straight, but it was consistent. Flavor became a little stronger at the beginning of the second third. Flavor became much stronger in the final third. Also heat started to increase on the tongue during the final third. I'm fact I had to finally give up on the final third. Other than that it was a very good cigar, overall.

Started with a nice sweetness that faded quickly, leaving predominant Earth, cacao and wood. The flavors shifted their order but didn't really change. Construction, draw, burn were all good. Medium in body at the most. Decent, but nothing to write home about. Stopped at about 1.5 inches.

Had moments the flavor was spot on. Hadn't some chalky feeling left on the palate sometimes which was off putting for me. Burn and draw were great. I might try again but not high on my list

Loved it

A friend gave this to me in a bomb last week, very enjoyable. The burn had to be touched up a few times but other than that it smoked great. I actually like it more than most stuff from My Father, as it was actually very creamy and not a total pepper bomb.

The flavors were coming through good although a bit muted. No off flavors were detected. Seems a bit too muted for a maduro. Other issues lowered score not bad by any means just so much better even in the my father line.

Flawless appearance. Cheap cutter provided a perfect slice through the cap with no stragglers or tearing. Draw at first seemed a touch easy for my liking, until I realized how perfectly it actually allowed me to breathe through my nose, without being overly easy to draw. Flavor was fairly subtle from start to finish, with some leathery tones, something akin to a "hay" reference I had read about (that I assumed would be a bad thing, but somehow it was pleasant), and a bit of nuttiness here and there. The burn was nice and slow, with gorgeous ash that held amazingly firm. I only removed ash for the experience of practicing my technique of rotating the stick in a circular fashion against an edge, just so I could enjoy developing a new inch or so of fresh ash. There was zero harshness to the flavor until the very end, which came only too soon. I removed the wrapper hoping to run this bad boy right to my fingers, but it was time to call it about half way through where the main wrapper (the one with the brand label on it) would have been. Amazing smoke, and to me, a tremendous experience for the price.

Always such a great cigar. Espresso flavor with a whole bunch of hay and leather. This maduro sungrown tobacco never disappoints. The burn unevened at times and it went out once perhaps due to a punch cut or lack of attention. The filler burned faster than the binder/wrapper toward the end, possibly due to slow smoking and chatting on the phone. I really didn't want the cigar to end. Nevertheless it was a fantastic smoke, flavor, aroma, and smoke output. I will continue to enjoy the smell in my mustache for the rest of the night.

I try so many different things I regularly forget just how good MF are. This cigar presents fantastically in the hue and texture and the bands are just works of art. This Maduro smokes so pleasantly, creamy and with touches of multiple elements. Everything sings together and it doesn't knock you over.

Not quite as good as the non-maduro version but still a great smoke. Had a super difficult time staying lit & burning evenly but that could have been due to the humidity.
