Second try. Somehow tasted better then last time but still not my cup of tea. Especially the last third was becoming too much for my smoke behaviour. I will give the Maduro version a try but at least the natural version will not be bought again.
Does anybody know if the toro and robusto version differ much?
Compared to how highly praised these cigars are, I am really confused how much i don’t like their profile.
Nice, well built cigar. Beautiful wrapper, kind of rustic but well rolled, solid, almost no give. Great draw, plenty of smoke. Strong flavor, spice. Burnt well, no touch ups needed. Went out once but smoked fine after relighting. Enjoyed it quite a lot
Another dependable smoke. Mild, easy on the mouth with an even burn, mostly cool burn down to a beard burning length. Simply a prefixtable, enjoyable smoke.
Cold draw:
First third: pepper, moderate spice
Second: more pepper. Nutty
Third: pepper. Leather
Draw: perfect with vertical v cut
Appearance: good
Burn: had small tunnel. Burn line was crisp
Construction:
Tasting notes: large amounts of smoke
