Got spice on the tongue from the very beginning. Very smooth tobacco taste in the first third. Very uneven burn. Even with two major touchups it still wanted burn unevenly. Became even spicier at the beginning of the second third. The ash was a "dirty white" while being very soft and flaky. The shape of the cigar was not quite...and not quite boxpressed either. I think it was compressed just a little by the packaging they came in. I got spicy, vegetation, and earthy notes during the entire session. Pepper on the retrohale, but not until the final third. Burn also improved going into the final third. Apart from the uneven burn and the not so Stellar construction of the cap, i thought this was a very cigar.
