Gifted from one of my groomsmen. He had had it for a while sealed in their box of 2. Even with a completely cracked wrapper the throughout it was delicious. Notes of graham cracker, coffee and chocolate with some light notes of citrus and white pepper on the tip of the tongue. The burn was as atrocious as the wrapper looked but the ash still held up well I would definitely pick some up overseas if the chance arose to buy a fresher batch.

Just tasted like chocolate

Been a long time since I had a Montecristo "yellow". I'd forgotten how smooth they can be. Definitely a mild cigar by today's standards, was surprised by the difference between this Dominican and the Nicaraguan 1935 Anniversary. Both use quality aged long filler, but if you are looking for good examples of the contrast between the two countries leaf, this will show you. Well constructed, even burn, held the ash to 2". I've come to appreciate cigars that don't insult your taste buds during ignition, and this one was consistent from start to finish. I generallly prefer a toro, but the longer size is the right choice here.

Petit Edmundo. First 1/3 VERY mild. Regained some flavour in the second 1/3 and ended the last 1/3 on a spicier note. High smoke creation although had an issue with the burn and needed relighting on one side.
