Sublime and elegant. If you're looking for something to pair with tailgate nachos or tequila shots, this is not your cigar. If, however, you want to enjoy the finest aged tobaccos from Arturo Fuente then you might just have a great selection here. Everything about this cigar is subtle and nuanced. The Sungrown spice is there, yet it's in the background. There's an always-present undertone of leather, yet it never steps forward in the lead. A very pleasant Cedar carries the experience, with perhaps a hint of toasted pecan from time to time. In short: a near-perfect delivery of warmth, comfort, and a touch of introspection. Easily one of my all-time favorites.
Smooth, creamy, balanced. Medium body, aged Ecuadoran rosado wrapper imparts unique flavor- citrus and cedar. Draw a little tight, but the remaining 4 will sit for a few months and should be fine.
Excellent draw (V cut) and creamy puffs from the very beginning, without going too strong into nutty flavours. A first third with strong notes of cedar and hints of leather (very much to my personal taste). Moving forward notes of dried fruit appear mixed with a persistent cedar. A second third even creamier, with strong notes of vanilla and nuts. Retrohaling at this point, a few citrus notes makes a surprising entrance. Spices slowly appearing as we approach the last third, with green pepper and cloves dominating. At the end, vanilla comes back with notes of black pepper, making you finish this cigar on a toothpick up to the last puff. Overall: excellent smoke, stable burn and great taste. Enjoyed with an excellent 2019 Swiss Pinot noir. Of note, it came straight from the seller’s humidor.
