No. 4 The Feathered Serpent

A beautiful cigar with so much texture in the wrapper, draped in an elegant yet meaningful band. The light-up is a close-footed cigar, so I received all the flavor from the Candela wrapper at the beginning, followed by a bold pepper note at the start of the cigar. Grass, hay, earth, and leather are the prominent notes starting off. Espresso, bittersweet dark chocolate, leather, and earth followed after lighting up. Now that I’m about an inch in, the pepper has died down. The cigar has become very smooth with a velvety smoke texture. The flavors stayed consistent the entire way through. I couldn’t get enough of this cigar! I had to break out my nubber so I could enjoy it to the end—so much so that I burned my lips getting that last puff. The draw is perfect, a little resistant with an easy, open draw.The burn is a little wonky, but that’s okay. It is a rough Candela wrapper.

A generally mild & creamy cigar. Profile consists of sweet spice with a stronger than expected retro. Color is smooth and burn was absolutely perfect.
