Second time smoking it. Still a great cigar, just an unfortunate construction. Second Perdomo in a short while with similar issues. Maybe third time's the charm
first third: pepper and coffee to start. Earthy taste as well. Coca in there as well. Second third: spice continues. Coca taste is prevalent as well. Final third: sweetness fades away into a more earthy spicy taste. Nicotine rush is high. Final smoke time 1:38. Final score 93.
This is a very good looking cigar. Dark brown with a sheen of oil to the chocolate bar looking box pressed stick. The 1st 1/4 in and all I got was wood and leather but after that things opened up. Pepper, cream, sweet fruitiness and coco with the leather and wood in the background. Flavor continued throughout adding coffee w/ cream and pushing the coco back. There was a good amount of pepper on the retro but not overwhelming. For $7 a fabulous smoke
Super rich bold cigar of cocoa, coffee, and amazingly aged tobacco. Perfect draw, but a loose center binder caused inadequate burn needing many touchups. Long smoke time.
