Thick smoke produces a bold mix of pepper and sweetness. The draw has just enough resistance to create a strong full, and the burn only needed one correction. Solid construction, even in the smaller format. Great cigar.
This is the second cigar I've had of the three black honeys I purchased. This one sat naked in my humidor for 5 or 6 months before smoking.
Warped has a reputation for crafting some of the prettiest cigars you may have seen. The black honey does not disappoint and lives up to this expectation.
Time has caused this little beauty to mellow out, I don't get the thick and rich honey and leather from last time.

The leather instantly becomes more pronounced, a hint of very sweet, over sugared barbecue sauce; maybe a hint of smoke honey.

The retro gains white pepper spice. I really love the leathery smoked pecan flavor that coats your mouth between puffs. It compliments my drink well.
