Continued review. A full year of rest on this one. A dark leathery smoke with hints of cocoa and spice, consistent with bold flavor. So smooth after the rest, but not quite as smooth as when I rested one for 2 years.
This one holds a lot of body! The flavor is a chewy leather and wood profile, with some extra spice that only appeared on the retro. The draw was smooth and the burn only needed a little help.
Flavor profile on this one is a lot darker than you would expect, with notes primarily of dark earth and pepper. At times the earth notes are overpowering. The draw was quite airy, but produced a lot of smoke with a decent burn line.
Thick smoke produces a bold mix of pepper and sweetness. The draw has just enough resistance to create a strong full, and the burn only needed one correction. Solid construction, even in the smaller format. Great cigar.
Duplicate review. A very smooth draw right away. Flavors proved to show consistently of pepper, some cocoa, a little wood, and a baking spice. Firm construction with a perfect draw. The burn was even the entire time.
A smoother and clean blend, with notes primarily of cedar and leather. A decent level of spice appears but only on the retro. An open draw with a perfect burn.
Here's an interesting one. The cold draw reminded me of a spiced apple pie, which I thought was just a fluke since I rarely pull fruit notes. Apparently not, as the smoking profile portrayed sweet, spiced cedar notes. The draw was open and incredibly smokey.
This one mostly consists of heavy wood tones blended with a bit of pepper. Every now and then you get teased with a hint of sweetness that fades away for awhile. The draw was a little open, and the burn remained fairly even throughout.
Enjoying again a little over a year since my last one. Cinnamon, coffee, and spice are again the flavor points. An absolutely perfect draw with no issues whatsoever, allowing the burn to be decently clean. Great flavors in general.
Brought back from the older AF1 under a new factory, this bad boy is dark and bold. Flavor notes consist of creamy cocoa and dark smooth pepper. An earthy tone almost appears at times. The draw has perfect resistance, but the burn did need minor corrections. Appearance and construction is great.
An amazing tribute cigar, glad that I have another one to let rest. Flavor notes are primarily of wood and vanilla with a touch of cocoa at times. The draw is perfect, the burn is near perfect, and the construction is solid.
A simple blend portraying notes of sweet wood. Clean tobacco notes keep those one basic. Decent draw and burn, just would have enjoyed more flavor profile.
Consistent review. A quick bite of pepper that drops down into smooth bread, nuts, and subtle chocolate. Clean construction with a great draw. Veiny appearance that doesn't take away from the overall experience. Good smoke.
Blended profile of nuts, vanilla, caramel, and gentle spice. A slightly airy draw that's very tolerable, with a fairly even burn that only needed minor touch ups. Firmer construction after 10 months rest. Smooth overall.
A very smooth draw right away. Flavors proved to show consistently of pepper, some cocoa, a little wood, and a baking spice. Firm construction with a perfect draw. They burn was even the entire time.
This cigar is overflowing with notes of wood and crackers. Every now and then a touch of something mineral comes through but fades back off. Easy draw and clean burn.
A very smooth draw right away. Flavors proved to show truee of pepper, charred chocolate, and a touch of butter. Firm construction with perfect draw. They burn was rather even the entire

Blended now of nuts, vanilla, caramel, and gentle spice. A slightly airy draw a tolerable, with a fairly even burn that only needed minor touch ups. Slightly spongy construction. Smooth overall.
Cocoa, pepper, leather, and some hints of sweetness throughout - all with an absolutely incredible slow even burn. The draw was almost perfect. Nothing bad to say here, a very consistent smoke that was very enjoyable.
