Definitely a cigar that gets better with age. Still not a favorite but after sitting n the humidor for over a year it definitely has a better flavor than the previous two I’ve tried with much less time in the humidor. Also having a lighter drink pairing helped as previous smokes were paired with bourbon.

A medium to full bodied cigar, very strong, with hay and grass notes, balanced, well made, good draw after a second cut. Just not my flavor profile.

Decided to give this another go, been sitting about 5 months. I have not encountered one of these that has been made well. Smokes like crap, tough draw, very fragile and very cedar forward with no complexity. I have 6 more that i am going to keep sitting for another year or so if they make it that far without crumbling. Crappy cigar.

Tight draw until 2nd 3rd.

Got a box of these at a B&M about 3-weeks ago, it came with a 69% Boveda in the box, but it was pretty spent. Its been in my 67% humidor for about 3 weeks, I gave (2) away, and i was anxious to try it, definitely needs a lot more time. It was pretty tight, and the draw took into the 2nd third to open up, even with a perfect draw it was tough. Very cedary, too much. I can see where if this flavor smooths out over time it would be good. I am going to take the advice and forget about these other 7 i have for a few years and revisit.

Love the size and shape of the Don Diego lonsdale. Difficult draw at first with an ashy taste that I don’t particularly enjoy. Redemption with some pepper and cedar within the first inch but it did not last. To ashy me

Decent flavor offset by a subpar draw. Even burning, but required a couple of relights. Not the best but also not the worst.

Very complex and smooth.

Very good. Bit peppery in the last quarter of the cigar
