Abnormal review. Sweet and spicy as expected, but not very smokey due to burn issues. The pepper notes hit harder than expected from its look. The draw was great, and the construction seemed great as well, but this particular stogie would not stay lit, which is rare for Undercrown lines.

Prelight is a barely noticeable light tobacco. Pleasant but faint. Goldilocks draw with great initial appearance. At half an inch, I've had to correct the burn line twice already. So it's a rough light-up and it's staying bad. There's a core problem that only a roller could have caused. Continuing, the high-burn core issue on one side is paired with a lagging side that won't keep up. I'm coming to the end of the first third, and I don't know if I like the cigar yet. Jeez Drew.
About halfway the burn is finally self-correcting. That's a whole lot of wasted cigar. 😕 I'm finally getting some flavors that don't include pure charcoal. It's woody with a bit of leather. There's a kind of spice that's settling on the palette and is present in the retro. Clove?
Coming to the end of the smoke, I think it's a good cigar. Medium strength. Giving Drew Estates the benefit of the doubt, I'll hope the burn issues were isolated. Generally this was a bad experience, but I'll try it again.
1mo rested. Burn and draw great. Ash tight and fell at halfway point. Interesting overall flavor, has a slight bitter taste. Notes of cedar, grass, nut, cream, spice, and citrus.

This thing is a little smoke bomb! The shade wrapper gives it far more punch than I expected. Great construction and firm, structured ash, but there’s an underlying harshness to it that betrays its reasonable price point. It draws easily and burns well, but my overall impression is it’s a very average, typical cigar. I’ll try it again in a different vitola, likely, but this corona pequena isn’t it for me. I put it away after an hour with roughly the last third left. I just was already full. Not a light cigar as you expect from a Connecticut. Never the less really aromatic, sweet and tasty till that point. It just got too strong for that moment.
First time I’ve had a construction issue with this cigar. Burn was awful and it wanted to fall apart by the 2nd third. Hopefully I was just unlucky on this one
Smoked at 66% RH reading @ the Cap & Foot, aged 3 months in the humidor
TL;DR - Not your typical Connecticut, especially when you smoke it slowly.
Not the neatest or prettiest wrapper. Seams were mostly hidden, but veins abounded. The main band and foot band were nicely designed and effective. The cap was cut very well and deeply set. Standard Connecticut scents from the wrapper and foot included hay, coffee, and cinnamon. I straight cut the cap without damaging it, and the cold draw gave standard Connecticut flavors of hay, wheat, and cinnamon. Nothing about this cigar stood out to begin with. Initial light up bright flavors of cedar, cinnamon, hay, salt & wheat (buttered toast effect), and a touch of vanilla. Draw was very good if not a touch on the loose side. Burn line was slightly wavy but overall neat and even. There was a touch of white pepper in the retrohale, and a slight cream to the finish. All of that is also how the first third began. Into the first third and baking spices appeared like cloves, oregano, and perhaps a faint touch of nutmeg. I was surprised by the complexity and flavor presence up front. The ash was light gray and not flaky, and seemed to hold on for quite awhile. The construction was very good; better than most. As the first third closed, a slight citrus flavor came out like that of a lemon or lime, but it was very faint. The aroma off the foot was fine, neither exceptionally aromatic, nor off putting. As the second third began, the creaminess on the palate opened up. The retrohale gave more pepper, and a touch of graham crackers showed up. Through the second third and the vanilla stood out more, with honey or caramel mixed into the finish. By the end of the second third the cedar was more pronounced and the shifting of flavors was noticeable. The band removal ushered in the final third along with an increase of strength and tobacco flavors. The finish and retrohale were ironically unchanged though. On the palate, the sweetness and cream died away, but the cereal and woody cedar notes hung around. The strength continued to increase as well. I really appreciated the shifting complexity of this stick from beginning to end. Tobacco notes didn’t take over until less than an inch left, maybe 0.75", and never got bitter. In fact the final tasting note on the finish was primarily toast. Overall a great cigar and a top 10 Connecticut.

Overall, well constructed and easy burning. Didn't have any need to touch up or relight at any point in my 60 or 70 minutes smoking it. Prelight draw was fairly loose but had a nice chocolate flavor to it. Unfortunately, that seemed to be the extent of my flavor experience. After lighting it, this cigar was like smoking air. Every so often I would get faint hints of... something... that would disappear almost as quickly as it came. I couldn't tell what it was though and didn't really add much to this bland, one-dimensional cigar. After getting about two-thirds though, I gave up on it. I've had worse cigars, but never one that left me so thoroughly unimpressed.
Burn was very uneven throughout the entire session, even with several touchups. Flavor was nice and mild. Cigar was actually a Gran Toro, but there was no selection for that size. Other than the burn issue it was a very nice cigar. Wouldn't mind getting some more.
Great cigar in everything but flavor. Just too mild a taste for me. Maybe recommend for new smoker who has mild taste pallet. I personally would not buy again.
Perfect go to cigar. Smooth. Slightly sweet. Very delicious. Medium bodied on the lighter side. Will def be purchasing again. The Corona size was perfect for an evening smoke in the backyard.
