TL;DR Top 5. Perfect. Refined 👍 Aged 8.5 years ⌛️ Firm to the touch. Exceedingly well built. Prelight draw is Goldilocks, though no notable scent or flavors stand out. It lights up great and burns beautifully. Starting off, there's really no notable flavors other than just pleasant light tobacco. A short time later, there's a slight spice to the tongue. Nice. Approaching the end of the first third, there's something in the retrohale that's special. As though it's anise, but without being bitter at all. I'm finding it difficult to describe, but it's damn good. Even a little bit sweet. Continuing through the journey that sweetness lingers. I honestly don't think I've ever had a cigar with this flavor. It's unique and highly tasty. Balanced. Refined. Elegant. I mean seriously, OMG. I read a review somewhere that I should expect green grape in the profile. I don't know that I can agree, but I think I'm understanding that description now. Approaching the end of this epic smoke, I have to say this is easily one of the top 5 cigars I have ever had. Just wow.

The blend quickly self-corrects into balanced territory as the smoke settles in. Before the end of the first third, and predictably with the smoke, a sweetness steps forward. Yes, the green grape flavor is back. Astounding, and it stays to the end. As this one comes to a close, the only regret is that you just can't get more.
