Olmec Maduro

Flavor profiles here consist of dark coffee and leather, possibly a touch of spice. There doesn't seem to be any intense pepper. The draw is a little more airy than expected, but very adequate, and the burn only needed a single touch up. Seemingly good construction quality.

Had this little robusto while spraying for mosquitoes after the storm today. This olmec was really fantastic. Easily sliding into my top 10.

Good stick. Gave 4 stars on the burn because I had to touch it up a bit after it got started. From about halfway on it was perfect though. Nothing to complain about on the draw. Flavor wasn’t mind blowing but I liked it quite a bit. Spices. Little pepper but also other spices that I couldn’t quite pick out. Nutmeg maybe? The spice didn’t stick around on the tongue but stayed on the inside of the cheeks throughout the smoke. Not in a bad way, added good character. Picked out some citrus throughout, espresso (sometimes felt light other times felt dark), vanilla, little bit of warm toffee and some nuttiness. Would smoke again.

Great draw, easy smoke. A go to when I want something on the lighter side of a mudoro

Needed a second to get the burn straight but worked out. Woody at first moving into some restrained creamy notes and finishing with woody mint. Great smoke. Smoked it all the way down.

My cigar shop owner recommended to pair this cigar when drinking Elijah Craig C923. I was very happy he recommended this cigar because it was an enjoyable experience pairing the two.
