This one may surprise you. First impression provides an elegant appearance. The construction is only a little soft, but the burn stays incredibly even while they draw remain smooth. Flavor notes consist mostly of earth, black pepper, and a touch of cream.

Punch

Consistent review. The flavor profile gives a mix of milder sweetness, pepper, and earth tones. Solid construction and decent burn. Smooth draw that produces a decent amount of smoke output.

CAO

Tried the small form just to see what it would do. Unfortunately the cherry flavor absolutely overwhelmed the tobacco. Being flavored, I wasn't really expecting much, but curiosity got the best of me. I will say that the draw and burn were perfect.

LeRoy Neiman

A colorful banding for a colorful artist. This project brings an elegant and smooth profile, with creamy bread and just a hint of pepper / spice. The draw is taught with the perfect amount of resistance that created a burn with an almost razor line finish. Fantastic!

Foundation Cigar Co.

Flavor profiles here consist of dark coffee and leather, possibly a touch of spice. There doesn't seem to be any intense pepper. The draw is a little more airy than expected, but very adequate, and the burn only needed a single touch up. Seemingly good construction quality.

Back to a reliable budget smoke. The flavor profile gives a mix of milder sweetness, pepper, and earth tones. Solid construction and decent burn.

Davidoff

The flavor profile boasts deep chocolate with a balanced tone of black pepper that never gets too harsh. Draw, burn, and appearance are all top notch - almost perfect. An elegant cigar all around. Smoked in Barcelona Spain.

Crowned Heads

There's something nutty about the profile of the EL2021, but it also has some sweet undertones to it. Having some age on it, the draw was smooth and clean. The burn remained fairly even the whole way through as well.

Davidoff

Always a great smoke on this one. Dark chocolate and almond comes through in a balanced mix with just the right amount of spice. No harsh tones, great smoke. Perfect draw and good burn.

Tatuaje

Not a complex smoke, as the flavor hits primarily of cocoa and black pepper. The draw is airy, and the burn is decent. No clue how CA rated this one at a 93.

Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust

Great cigar for those who like deeper flavor. Profile notes consist heavily of bold coffee, dark chocolate, cedar notes and consistent bits of pepper. The draw was firm but adequate with a very steady burn. A killer unicorn!

E.P. Carrillo

Consistent review. A little powerhouse of bold tobacco, chocolate, spice, and wood tones. The draw is smooth and the construction feels pretty solid. Very smokey output. 4.5 months in the humidor this time.

Updated review. A quick smoke of sweet pepper and nutty profiles. Nothing too complex, but blended well. A good smoke for the price. The flavor get another over time, now with 1.5 years of rest.

Crowned Heads

This particular blend boasts pretty strong notes of oak and leather, with the spice profile coming in and out throughout the cigar. The draw is smooth and smokey and the burn line is very even.

Punch

My first rating of the cigar was 62, but after 14 months of rest, they are definitely much better. The flavor produces mostly a earthy and leafy feel, with a slight creamy note and spice in the back end. Overtime this cigar it's better with rest, becoming more flavorful.

My Father

Got a pack of these a year and a half ago. The first couple were very airy and lacking. After 16 months of rest, this cigar finally smokes well. Good burn with smooth notes of pepper, wood, and now a little cocoa that wasn't present before. Definitely needs a lot of extra rest before smoking well.

El Viejo Continente

First light hits immediately with a spicy chocolate flavor. The intense spice soon dials down into a better blend with the chocolate. Clean draw and surprisingly even burn. An interesting aroma similar to Mexican chocolate. Multiple times smoking, just like the first.

E.P. Carrillo

Repeat review. A feisty fireball. Alternating notes of cedar and straight up red pepper provide some intense hits. Makes for a good pick-me-up cigar. Easy draw and decent burn.

Not as complex as would be anticipated, but the tobacco is super aged and very smooth. Touches of sweet pepper and a dash of cocoa are prominent. At times a mild note of wood comes through. Airy draw and clean burn.

Repeated review. A quick smoke of sweet pepper and nutty profiles. Nothing too complex, but blended well. A good smoke for the price. The open foot creates an interesting first light.

George Rico

Super dark chocolate with nuances of pepper. Practically no transition, but the flavor stays consistent. Clean draw and burn. Good big cigar for a budget price.

Freud

There's just enough spice to notice it, but there's nothing intense. Primary notes include hazelnut, leather, and hay. Very smooth draw. The burn tried to run some but corrected easily.

PSyKo SEVEN

Mostly portrays notes of hay with hints of chocolate. An absolutely perfect burn though. The draw is smooth, and the construction seems solid. Very surprising.

Esteban Carreras

This cigar boasts deep tones with very bold, earthy pepper and notes of dark beer. Solid construction.

Rebellion

A very intriguing cigar. Underlying notes of subtle cocoa remain the entire time, while varying notes of maple and balanced sweet chili appear as well. Very well construction with a great draw.

Davidoff

Among the top cigars from Davidoff. Earthy. Leathery. Bits of sweetness here and there. And adequate draw and decent burn. Well constructed.

Macanudo

A milder and rather sweet smoke. Hints of pepper only appear on the retrohale. Very smokey output. Even with all the milder tones, the ash proves very toothy.

Viaje

The blend of spices generally overwhelms the cocoa and sweetness faintly noted with this cigar. Still a decent smoke, but it does come across as a stronger blend. The draw was VERY tight and was difficult to smoke.

Diesel

Complex and bold notes of spice, pepper, wood, and chalky leather. A full profile of various flavors that ebb and flow the entire way. The tight draw due to the shape levels out quickly and makes for a perfect burn.
