Smoking the Montecristo White Series Rothschild (5 x 52) is a smooth and refined experience from start to finish. Right away, you get a creamy, mellow profile with notes of cedar, toasted almonds, and a touch of white pepper. The Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper adds a bit of sweetness with hints of vanilla and hay, giving it a well-balanced, easygoing character. The burn is sharp, and while the draw is slightly firm, it still produces plenty of silky smoke. As the cigar progresses, the flavors stay consistent and smooth, with the nuttiness becoming more noticeable in the final third. It’s a perfect morning smoke—mild to medium-bodied, relaxing, and something you can just sit back and enjoy without thinking too much.

It was harsh at the very start but then mellowed out very quickly and was nice and mellow for 9/10th of the cigar. Maybe it was a one-off. I’ll try another and see. Overall, Id still recommend it.

Understanding that professional cigar reviews of cigars that a for instance 89 vs a 92 will be a huge difference. However this cigar was grabbed out in the wild a local cigar shop walk in humidor. So with that in mind I scored it based on that. However, I feel that the flavor profile was just average nothing particularly unique and nothing off putting just as average as you can get. Now at a usual price of 17$ per stick there is such a long list of things that are so much better I would avoid this stick altogether.

actually received this by mistake but agreed to keep them since they seemed like something I would try. I was excited to smoke this and did some reading up as well. They have been resting at 70% for about a month. To be honest I was a little disappointed out of the cello. The wrapper was a little lumpier than expected but no soft spots so I moved on. The flavor was great! Its mello but has a lot going on. I get a lot of granola and honey. Smells like crushing grains for a brew day. Honey lends some sweetness and it’s blended in very nicely. No burn issues at all. Ash was a bit darker and I’d have hoped but had the staying power. I had mine with espresso but feel like it would pair great with an amber lager.

Wouldn't stay lit without a constant draw and that seemed hard. Not easy to just sit and smoke, had to think about keeping it going. smoke was not harsh, pretty smooth and not alot of after taste. Not bad taste waking up in morning.
