Great flavor. Strong chocolate flavor creamy and smooth. Draw is a bit airy and cigar is loosely packed. This caused it to smoke rather quickly but not overly hot and burn was decent. Nice treat for a mid day smoke on a 70 spring day in Michigan

Been a while since I've had one of these. Perhaps it's been a decade? (you're welcome). Prelight is so rich. Not quite barnyard. Very good. Appearance, draw and burn are outstanding. This is a good and satisfying smoke, yet there's zero sense of a journey here. It's a rich maduro smoke, a bit of tobacco spice, and it seems easy to smoke and difficult to smoke wrong (like inadvertent charring). I think this is a nice everyday cigar for me. Also, I think it's a great introduction cigar for somebody who you want to give a good experience to. Great job RP!

I recently discovered these cigars, and generally like them. This particular stick had a nice espresso flavor throughout, with some notes of chocolate here and there. The room smell was pleasant as well, with the espresso notes. Retrohale was also pleasurable with chocolate, espresso, and maybe some occasional cinnamon. Being a boxpressd stick, I expected to do some touch-ups, but this one took some work just before the last ⅓. Had to do some hot purging and I almost gave up at one point, because it almost became fireproof,lol I could feel that it had become very humid in the last⅓, but once I got it to relight, it was once again enjoyable all the way to a nub! I will always have an RP Decade in my humidor.

Nice dark cigar, dark wrapper, toothy, some visible, tight seams. Burned well in very cold weather. Good burn, needed two small touch ups. Good, solid grey ash. Strong, full bodied. Earthy, leathery notes. Strong black pepper, especially in the retrohale. Smoked it a bit fast (I was walking around in the cold).

I tasted coffee which was present from first to final along with pepper, however, the pepper toned down a bit into the second third. I tasted a caramel like sweetness along with leather and woodiness which lasted throughout. I was actually surprised this was an RP I was smoking, and then came burn issues which effected the overall enjoyment. along with wrapper defects is why I rated this lower. Flavor profile when it was burning great came thru like a star. At its best It was like a toned down version of a Padron 1964 Maduro. And that’s saying something at about less than half the price. Considering it’s price point it wouldn’t be fair to directly compare it to the Padron, however, it’s fair to say it had a complex enough flavor profile to warrant another purchase at this price point. I would caution though the burn issues it seems hit or miss so far.

Started off as a bold black pepper notes, gradually got smoother with some leather notes introduced. Halfway through the stick you begin to taste more espresso with earthy notes along with a very slight cocos note. Overall good smoke. Burn was great. Solid one hour.
