13 Ogre

A sweet and somewhat floral aroma. Profile notes are completely different, portraying some mild grassiness with general cocoa and coffee. The varied wrappers blend together and cancel out any strength or bitterness. Spongy and smooth.

Mostly earthy profile with subtle hints of espresso and spice. A medium profile that isn't too bold. A little airy - but tolerable - with slightly spongy construction. Overall still an enjoyable smoke.

Never been a fan of a candela wrapper so I’ve been putting this one off for quite a bit. But tonight my curiosity got the best of me. Actually ended up enjoying this one, not sure if I’ll ever get another but wouldn’t turn one down. Lots of grassy flavor and surprisingly seemed to get milder towards the end.

Pretty decent cigar considering the gimmicky size and the fact that it's a barber pole. The draw was surprisingly good and the burn was mostly even only requiring the occasional touchup with generous amounts of smoke. The flavor was enjoyable with notes of earth and nuts. A pretty good choice to celebrate St. Patrick's Day.

I had been saving this one for just the right time so you can imagine the disappointment when it started to split down the side. There was no noticeable damage before lighting so who knows. It could have been a result of smoking too fast but I felt the need in order to keep it lit. Overall the blend was very nice with suddle hints of chocolate with a smooth grassy undertone. Had it not been for the poor burn this could had been a very pleasant experience.
