It honestly can't see or taste much difference between this and the la historia. It was good and creamy. Lots of good chocolate flavor. Burn was off in the the final 3rd. Overall and good cigar but nothing spectacular.

This was my first try of this type of cigar. It had at least a year worth of aging on it. One thing I have to say is that it was a fragile smoke the entire time. What I mean by that is that if you weren't careful, you could easily turn the cherry to a Char. This is why I scored some of the attributes a little lower than I think it should have been at. The first half of the cigar, I was dancing with the char experience so I really didn't get much else other than it was very creamy. In the last half, I did get some of the expected flavor notes such as raisin a few times as well as the baked apple at the end, which was wonderful. I'll look forward to exploring these more in the future.
Really good smoke. Perfect burn and draw great construction. Started with notes of dark chocolate and leather. That worked its way into a more creamy milk chocolate, coffee, cedar and light cinnamon. That finished off with a creamy citrus, cedar and light leather. Will definitely be a repeater.
Beautiful box pressed cigar. Beautiful dark, oily wrapper. Draw is good, plenty of smoke. First third starts with a pepper blast, licorice and a lot of power before it settles to a more balanced profile, less peppery, The second third transitions to leather and coffee notes. Burn becomes uneven, had to retouch once. Last third stays leathery and it brightens up with some fresh citrus notes at the end… Amazing transitions… A really excellent cigar I loved to smoke to the nub

I really did enjoy it, smoked it as I watched the original “Twister”, going to see the new one soon. Love the hands on it, looks great, draw was perfect, flavor was good but got hot towards the end, I recommend it though 👍🏿
Enjoyed this one a lot. Burn was a bit wavy and required a little touch up, but overall performed well and had a consistent smooth flavor throughout. I smoked this one til there was nothing but wrapper. The I even regretted not going for a larger vitola, could have smoked this for another hour.
Nice appearance, firm box press making a nearly rectangular cigar, lumpy in appearance, veins of wrapper very subtle.
Cold Draw; strong chocolate and cedar. Draw very loose.
Upon lighting, Cedar and toast, surprisingly little chocolate. Strong notes of oak present themselves as you progress through the first third.
Halfway through nutmeg and clove flavours take over, cedar taste becomes more sharp, strengths builds. Consistent, loose roll with abundant smoke on the draw, even but not razor sharp burn.
Final third, coco finally takes over with strong clove and burnt oak, still getting stronger, upper medium strength on the finish, without becoming overbearing with heat.

Started off great, good flavor, burn was great for a box pressed. Unfortunately the final third got a bit harsh. I would probably try this one again though.
This is the EP Carrillo Pledge Sojourn. My impressions: Perfect draw and manure smell pre-lighting. Construction is nice and the cigar is firm. Oily wrapper and chewy smoke. Ash is somewhat loose but this has no bearing on the wonderful flavors that are rich and complex. It's a flavor bomb! About halfway through it gets very peppery. Some people don't like pepper, I do. Smooth on the finish. This a medium to full-bodied cigar.
I'm not positive anyone actually reads these reviews, but here goes. It's musty. Only thing I can compare it to is if you walk into a humidor that's been around for years. Musty and almost a mushroom sort of scent. Tastes like black cherry, cedar, and strong black tea. Am I the only one who gets black tea as a tasting note? Come on people. Only negative was that the burn was crooked and required frequent touching up. Must be an issue with how it was rolled because I had a cone that was predominantly off center. I liked it though. I much prefer the Encore by Carillo. But this was good too.
