Continued review, now with 10 months of rest. With the first cigar landing in the 70s, the 6-month mark seems to be the acceptable smoking point. No difference now compared to then. Subtle notes of spice with a primarily nutty profile. The draw is smoother, and the burn is even.

Ferio Tego

Second review. This one is full of flavors related to coffee, wood, and leather. Even though the construction is firm and solid, the draw is incredibly smooth. I only wish those flavor notes were stronger. Unfortunately, the burn on this one needed a few corrections as it tried to run on one side.

Consistent review. A great short smoke! Notes of mixed cocoa, coffee, earth, and pepper. Everything you want in a good blend. Perfectly dense with a great draw. Acquired from TGS25 event.

Plasencia

Consistent & duplicated review. Mild spice with a subtle blend of nuts and honey. Very smoky with a clean easy pull. The draw can be a tad too open, but it does not seem to affect to clean burn throughout the smoke.

Crowned Heads

Continued review. Very smooth tobacco with strong spice and a touch of sweetness. The burn was a little wavy this time, but the draw l was perfect. This one is always worth revisiting.

Arturo Fuente

With 17 months rest, this blend is slap full of cedar tones the entire way. There is also an under tone similar to malt or hazelnut almost. The spices mild and pleasant and reproduces on the retro. Solid draw and fairly even burn.

Punch

More of a smooth blend, with notes of wood and baking spice coming through. The draw is airy without a lot of smoke output. However, the burn did stay fairly even, only needing one correction.

La Flor Dominicana

Updated review with a year of age. Incredibly dark blends of peppery coffee and molasses. The draw is smoother after extra rest. Clean appearance. Burned well even with the light draw.

Micallef

Mixing concepts of the Red and Blue blends, the Purple produces flavor notes of sweet spice, mild cocoa, and medium pepper. The draw has a gentle resistance to it that produces a good amount of smoke. Clean and slightly spongy construction leads to a burn that needed no corrections. Acquired from TGS25.

Room 101

Very consistent repeated review. A very deep & bold blend with earthy tones. No bitterness at all as smooth chocolate also comes through. Draw has smoothed out after a few months and still gives way to a lot of smoke. Firm construction and an even burn.

Recluse

The flavors on this one definitely pop! Notes consist of cocoa, wood, and spice. The draw is open, producing a decent amount of smoke. Slightly spongy, but the burn stayed true. The smoke itself provides a spiced cinnamon aroma, although no cinnamon comes through on the pallete.

Howard G Cigars

Consistent review. Very bold profile with an overpowering toastiness. A chewy taste of bread with a little cream and mineral comes through as well. Decent draw and burn. Flavor keeps getting better, 16 months of rest now. Acquired from TGS24 event.

Consistent review. Notes of gentle earth blended with smoother profiles of leather and woodsiness. An almost perfect draw. The burn started even and remained clean.

Repeated review. Full of creamy light pepper with a ton of smoke! A very smooth burn with an adequate draw. Solid construction and great band. Good smoke.

Drew Estate

19 months of rest on this one. Flavors are full of coffee, chocolate, and pepper. The draw is a tad tight, but the burn stays true and doesn't seem to limit the flavors. A darker cigars that generally smokes pretty well.

Caldwell

Repeated review with a full year of rest. A medium bodied smoke full of nuts, earth, and basic coffee notes. The burn stayed even, and the draw was a little airy which allowed a decent amount of smoke to be produced.

Tatuaje

Updated review after 15 months rest. This is still a rather light cigar with a very creamy feel, yet even smoother than 6 months ago. Extra notes of wood and a subtle tad bit of pepper. Very smooth draw and clean burn the entire way. Acquired from TGS24 event.

AJ Fernandez

Repeated review. A powerful but smooth blend of coffee, wood, and spice. Random pops of leather come through as well. A perfect draw, and a burn that stayed very even. Spicier than expected on the retro.

Illusione

This one is much better in the larger vitola compared to one I smoked last year on Lancero. Almost nutty at times, this blend brought out some espresso with some spice which was better portrayed. The draw felt chewy but was never obstructed. The draw and burn were both smooth and even.

Montecristo

Updated review after 16 months rest. This one is full of chocolate, coffee, and a light mix of pepper & spice. A slow even burn allows for a very long enjoyable smoke. Flavors stay true without any bitterness, allowing rich tobacco tones to shine through. Fantastic appearance as well. Draw is still a tad airy.

Liga Privada

A good yet super smooth blending, with a dark oily wrap for those extra notes. The profile hits mainly with chocolate, coffee, and subtle spices. There's nothing harsh about this one. Construction is solid, the burn is level, and the draw is just a tad tight - but also acceptable. Smoked in Barcelona Spain.

Seemingly light-hearted at first, the sweet spice gradually comes up to get your attention. There's a little earthiness that shines through as well. The retro is more intense than expected. Perfect draw and decent burn, great construction.

Romeo y Julieta

Nothing amazing, but a good casual smoke. The flavor leans towards leather with subtle hints of spice and maybe a little wood. The draw and burn are both consistent though due to solid construction in the roll.

CAO

Repeat review from the 2025 release. Dry leather & espresso profile. The draw was absolutely perfect with a pretty clean burn line. Construction was solid as generally expected with the Basins.

Joya de Nicaragua

This is a pleasantly dark cigar. The flavor profile comes through with bold coffee, dark chocolate, and just enough pepper to be noticeable. The boldness does not turn harsh or bitter. Airy draw but very even and moderately paced burn.

A fantastic darker blend of the original! Deeper tones of coffee and leather with extra hits of pepper right off the bat. The draw is perfect and the burn stays fairly even. A worthwhile variation.

Montecristo

The tobacco itself is the star of the show, with a good aged but mild flavor to it. Pepper and some sweetness fiber through as well, with a subtle touch of leather or wood, hard to truly say. The draw is a tad tight but the burn held up ok.
