TL;DR - dark toasted oak core, light spice and distant intermittent raisin. Recommended 👍 9 mos aged ⏳️ Pre-light faint maduro tobacco. Expert construction and draw. Light-up is dark, toasted wood 🪵 Burn is great. Light spice teases the tongue. Will it be spicy or not? As the first third comes to an end, the toasted wood has mellowed and a faint raisin comes and goes 👌 Toasted oak retrohale. Approaching the end of the second third, the core flavor has been toasted wood. The raisin hint arrives more often in the final third. There's not much of a flavor journey here, yet it has been a very good cigar. Medium to strong strength nicotine; light to medium flavors. Pair with sweet meats 🍖 (BBQ?), and sweet drinks like cola. Whiskey and Islay scotch seem obvious also. Not sure that coffee ☕️ would be a good idea.

Almost 1 year in the humidor. Great burn and draw. Coffee and leather and just enough cocca. Final 3rd the tar built up preventing a finish to the nub. Otherwise an excellent cigar.

Bitter at first lighting. Settled down eventually. Strong pepper on the finish for the first third. Got two inches of tight ash. Good draw. Sweetness coming through. Second third is turning out to be enjoyable. Getting notes of hay and molasses. Rich, dark and oily wrapper. Nice plumes of smoke. About 5/8s in and I’m getting strong cedar notes. Almost to last third: some bitterness but transitioning to hay notes.
