Kintsugi

TL;DR - recommended in the Corona Gorda vitola. 👍 5 mos aged ⏳️ Light-up easy. Goldilocks draw. The first flavor is hazelnut. Also, it starts as a waxy smoke. A light tobacco spice develops. This is a mild to medium smoke in both flavor and Nic strength. I can imagine this would pair with your favorite red wine. 🍷 Probably coffee too. ☕️ Generally, this is an enjoyable smoke, and I can see why it's rated well. If your humidor has space for variety, this is a decent consideration for a box addition.

Aged 2mo. Not a fan of the label. Draw real tight even after Perfecdraw. The burn was great. The flavors were smooth and balanced with notes of cedar, hay, nut, coffee and a touch of spice.

Very good stick. The flavor is good, great burn and draw.

Great flavor. A little mild at the start but ramped up as I smoked it. A rather fast burn for a toro but on a cooler night that’s kind of a good thing.

Easy smoke, likely medium strength. Flavor is okay but nothing special. Pairing it with 10 year Ardbeg. I think I prefer Cuban rum!

Light roast coffee and cream, cedar, and nuts.

Great smooth taste. Size is a bit too large. Great draw, very little smoke.

Draw is excellent. The burn line has a couple of crooked spots, but it's otherwise straight and the ash looks tight. Some pepper notes on the retrohale. I've smoked the Kentsugi one other time and just like then the only other flavor I taste is only what I can describe as "meaty" or "savory". Actually makes my mouth water. LOL! Burn line finally required a touch up going into the second third. There was also too much glue on the first band. So when I removed it the wrapper of the cigar tore slightly. Second band peeled away cleanly. Burn finally became almost perfectly straight in the final third. Had a pretty good nicotine buzz going by the end. An excellent smoke. Like I said before, I've smoked the Kintsugi before and what I really like is that everything was pretty consistent between the two cigars. I'll definitely buy this one again.

So smooth! If I'm honest I had a hard time identifying flavors, but I don't have the best palate. All I know is I really enjoyed it.
