Dirty hay smell. Very nice box pressed construction. I’m okay with the band, it’s classy. Thick, medium strength smoke to start. Dark spice is smooth. 2/3 through and punch cut is burning lips now. Burn has been perfect. Strong constant buzz. Not much flavour,just a little dark chocolate with black pepper and smooth tobacco. Mouth took a bit of a beating

Oliva series G: first third: earthy spicyish taste, coffe aftertaste. More nutty flavor heading into second third. Second third: stronger notes of coffee. Sweeter earthy note about halfway through second third. Final third: flowery/earthy sweeter syrup taste. Final smoke time 50 minutes. Score: 91

The Oliva Serie G Robusto was my very first cigar and was recommended by my local Cigar & Spirt store, where I already used to buy my Whiskies. From the start, it was enjoyable. Light enough for a newbie smoker, and after a while I even started to find some flavors: Wood, Creaminess and Nuts... that's what I used to, finding similar notes in Whisky, but I also got a new taste: a leathery flavor. While not very expensive, I found the Oliva Series G a very enjoyable smoke, that I can only recommend to every other beginning cigar smoker.

Think the cigar may have dried out. Burned much faster than the others. Used a 9mm punch, which I had difficulty getting through the cap. After I punched the cigar the entire cap came off in one piece! Managed to get it stuck back down though. Bad burn throughout smoking session requiring two major touchups. If this has been my first one I'd be much more disappointed than I am. But they can't all be winners. 😁

Great for someone who doesn't have or doesn't want to spend the time on a larger cigar. Great draw with lots of thick white smoke. Ash was loose and fell off on it's own in the first inch of smoking. Developed a peppery taste in the final third. Only one touch up and one relight required.
