Was ok. Not much going other then a lite citrus on and some orange at the end. Construction was good though. Great draw and perfect burn. But not sure id try again

Not a bad cigar, but flavor profile wasn’t for me. This my second one and still felt the same.

Silky smooth cigar with a nice spice, creamy and wood flavor.

Smooth cigar, but minimal flavor of mostly tobacco and light notes of citrus. Honestly expected a little more from this one. Easy draw.

Uneven burn. Mild at beginning. Cashew throughout. Little spice top third.

Good pepper, medium strength flavor. This was the petit Corona Manzanita.

This Caldwell Eastern Standard is an "Easter egg" with Matt Booth's face instead of the typical band. It's a windy day but the cigar tastes great. The ash stayed on surprisingly long since it was so windy; ash dropped at around 2". The first third was very mild with a light leathery tobacco flavor. Just before the second third the flavor intensified giving a creamy cashew flavor with an oat grain note. Halfway through I got more of a cedar note on top of the leather and grain. The burn has been uneven, mostly due to wind. The draw feels great and the taste and aroma are both great. The special band gives it bonus points for appearance. The glue on the band loosened up as the burn approached, but I peeled it off instead of trying to slide the band off. The wrapper stayed perfectly intact and when the wind died down a bit the burn evened out perfectly. The retrohale gives a strong cashew feel and doesn't leave much of a burn in the nostrils, more of a tingle. The closer I get to the end, the stronger the flavor gets. Lots more cashew, a nice leathery, grainy base, and a note of cedar and nutmeg, especially in the retrohale. In the final third I got some spiciness on my lips but still, the retrohale was very mild with just a slight tingle in the nostril. Overall, this became a fantastic cigar. The flavor really picked up after the first third and got really tasty. The wind did a number on the burn in the first half but it evened itself out in the second half and was perfect for the rest of the smoke. The draw was exceptional the entire time and I just love that it is an Easter egg cigar with the fun band. Great cigar start to finish and kept getting better the longer I smoked.

Natural tobacco and pepper, had to rethought twice. Humidity at 67%, i don't have this problem with other cigars.
