Very aromatic notes of wood, possibly cedar. The pipe tobacco notes come through prominently throughout. A slightly tight draw that opened up fairly soon. A very even burn and great construction.

Smoky like BBQ

Dunbarton offering, blend includes pipe tobacco from Cornell & Diehl. Very pungent smell of mesquite out of the box, didn't store in main humidor. This is a well made medium bodied cigar. Burned evenly throughout, no touchups or relights necessary. Draw a little tight at first, but it opened up on its own. Smoke volume less than other recent cigars. The pipe tobacco becomes apparent in the second third, builds into the finish and adds a very pleasing depth to the flavor. Nice mix of cedar and pepper, very relaxing. Kudos on the blend, no single overpowering note yet complexity is not sacrificed.
