This is a very bold, smokey, and peppery smoke. The burn was a little quick, but that did not take away from the flavor. Gentle progresses allowed the earth and spice to pick up without becoming harsh. The draw stayed openly smooth and consistent. Great smoke overall.

Rojas

The cigar immediately hits with a creamy tone that is quickly joined with strong pepper and meaty spice, which goes along perfectly with the theme of the street tacos line. The draw is smooth and the burn is fairly even throughout.

Cavalier

Updated review. With about a year and a half of age on this one, cocoa comes through heavily with notes of wood and cinnamon. Moderately firm construction with an adequate burn that did need several touch-ups.

Espinosa

Unfortunately, this feels like something is missing. Acquired from NFG24 so it hI'mas over year of rest. The draw and burn are both smooth, but the flavor just doesn't hit. The flavor is probably of wood but joined with a super musty note that's not pleasurable.

Continued review, 14 months rest. A very smooth cigar overall. The flavor portrays mostly of spice and a touch of sweetness with a hint of wood and leather at times. The burn stayed true with only minor touch-ups. The draw was a little more open and the smaller size compared to larger, and a hint of nuttiness appeared at the beginning.

Rock-A-Feller

Updated review. The profile brings pepper and a type of sweetness, almost like a caramel tone. The sweetness backs off just enough to present some rich tobacco and various spices. A nutty profile still appears after over a year of rest, but now smoother.

Warfighter

The initial aroma starts with sweet bread, which translates over into the smoking profile as well. The overall tone is a milder but sweetly sliced flavor. The retro is spicier than expected but not harsh. The draw is great with a slow even burn.

Aganorsa Leaf

Second review. This cigar has a sweet spice to it. The intensity is even smoother with a couple months of rest, allowing notes of wood and leather to come through. The draw was immaculate with a very even burn. Clean look and firm construction.

Ohana Nui

There's no better way to explain this one other than stating it tasted just like a dark chocolate s'mores! The first draw pulled in notes of dark chocolate, graham cracker, and sweetness. Nothing harsh at all. The oily wrapper held a smooth draw and clean burn.

Left Hand Cigars

First time smoking this newer blend. There's not a lot of punch to it at all. The flavor is a mix of savory and sweet, but it is very mild surprisingly. The draw is airy, and the burn does stay very even. Appearance is incredibly elegant, as the build quality helps make up for the lack of flavor.

RoMa Craft

A little earth, a little spice, a little cream. Airy smoke but well balanced. The burn waved at times but corrected itself. A good smoke overall. Acquired from NFG24.

Espinosa

Consistent review. Such a bold and dark Mexican wrapper with immense flavor. Not for anyone wanting milder smokes. A strong note of spice & pepper is maintained all the way through. Acquired from NFG24 over a year ago.

Liga Texas

Acquired from NFG25, with better flavor than the previous year. Leather and tobacco still carry prominent, but pepper and spice also carry through. Smooth burn and draw as well.

Definition

The profile brings immediate hits of cocoa and dark bold coffee. There's just enough spice on the tongue to keep it interesting. The draw is open, producing a ton of smoke, while the burn waves minimally with no issues. Came from NFG25 event.

Drunk Chicken

There's nothing much beyond simple tobacco and very little spice. The construction is soft and uneven on the inside, you can feel the divots. While the draw is decent, the burn was rough and uneven. Will let the others rest to try again.

Smoking the 601 Blue Label Maduro (6.2 x 54, Box Pressed) delivers a bold, full-bodied experience right from the start. The first few draws bring a peppery kick, balanced by deep earthy notes. As it progresses, dark chocolate and espresso become more pronounced, with a touch of sweetness from the Maduro wrapper. The box-pressed construction ensures an effortless draw, producing thick, flavorful smoke. The burn is mostly even, with minor touch-ups here and there, but nothing that takes away from the experience. As the cigar develops, the spice mellows, allowing the chocolate and espresso to shine through in the final third. A smooth yet complex Maduro that’s well-balanced and deserving of its 90+ rating—definitely one to keep in the humidor!

Luciano

Second test, very consistent. 13 months in the humidor. This one consists mainly of wood and toast. Pepper comes through some but primarily on the retro. The draw was still a tad tight, but the burn remained level. Acquired at last year's NFG24 event.

Black Star Line

A milder blend than last year's exclusive, this time with a Corojo wrapper and a 4-country filler mix. The flavor notes consist of mostly bread or light toast with some baking spice. There is an ever subtle tone of sweetness, but not too strong. Draw and burn are fantastic.

Ezra Zion

A lighter hit on intensity than most, but flavors consist of bread and some spice. A clean draw and burn throughout.

Espinosa

The first draw presents an immediate hit of caramel, which soon backs away to blend nicely with wood tones and subtle spice. The draw remains smooth and airy, but the burn did need a few touch-ups.

Aganorsa Leaf

This cigar primarily has a sweet spice to it. The intensity remains low, allowing other notes of wood and subtle leather to come through. The draw was immaculate with a very even burn. Clean look and firm construction.

Plasencia

Spice, nuttiness, and woodsiness throughout. No real pepper beyond general tobacco spice. A good raw blend of clean tobacco. Great draw and only minor burn corrections.

Caldwell

An interesting blend with just the right amount of spice to make it interesting. The draw and burn were smooth, and the kick never became too strong. A good everyday type smoke.

Fortaleza y Libre

This blend has an interesting hit, due to only a little bit of pepper. The other notes that portray are mostly wood and some sort of citrus note. It is not super mild like most connecticut cigars, as it has a little bit more umpf. Simple in appearance, but the burn was razor sharp. Rested for 11 months, acquired from NFG24 event.

After 4 months of resting this cigar is excellent. Very smooth, little to no pepper, lots of leather, cedar, and earth. Its well balanced cigar, draw and burn were perfect.

RoMa Craft

This cigar has a lot of potential, but over packed construction held it back. The flavor notes seem to consist of pepper and a little spice. However, the draw was so tight, that even with extra cap cuts and draw tools, it was difficult to produce good flavors. It's also caused the burn to run severely multiple times.

Jake Wyatt

2 for 2, repeat review. This is a pretty amazing blend, slap full of cocoa and super smooth tobacco. There is a creaminess with something similar to nuts with just enough sweetness to keep it balanced. Decent construction and a pretty cool appearance.
