Watching US Open at Pinehurst Round 1.
Wonderful construction. Easy draw, even burn. Thick, heavy smoke, strong, slightly bitter taste. Could be the drink pairing.
Excellent cigar! Starts out with a blast of pepper then quickly chocolate, wood, earth and leather. A touch of sweetness and nuttiness in the background. Lots of complexity as the 2nd and 3rd thirds burn, very smooth flavor transitions with honey and licorice showing up in the final 3rd.
Connoisseur’s take: this is my second time smoking this cigar and it’s even better than I remember. With flavors of dark coffee, chocolate, nuts, and graham cracker, this is an amazing dessert cigar. I advise everyone to smoke this cigar!
The Judge looks and feels like what a cigar should be. Construction was solid. Smoke was good and it burned fairly even once it got started. Flavor is where this fell short as I did not get much complexity like others mention but the spice and nutty tastes that I did get were clean.
An amazing smoke. The complexity and flavors were off the charts. Coffee, chocolate, malt, fruitiness, earth, leather, wood and spice. Multiple transitions and changes throughout the smoke.
Had to touch it up a couple times, but mostly because I was in and out of the house, setting the cigar down frequently. Started out at 75° and dropped down to low 60s. It's chilly outside but the cigar is nice and dark and keeping me warm. Lots of chocolatey flavor with earth and a saltiness.
This is an excellent cigar. I enjoyed this stick from the beginning to the end. Nice medium to full body cigar that went well with Uncle Nearest. A great relaxation from a long day. One of my favorites from my start of enjoying the leaf.💨💨
