Master Blends 3

TL;DR - Earthy and creamy. Recommended 👍 10 mos aged ⏳️ Starts off with spices from a Christmas drink and some Cocoa powder. I'm thinking cinnamon and hint of clove. To clarify, it's not sweet. I'm also getting the earthy and creamy flavors I read about. Medium flavors and medium+ nicotine. Overall, this was a good smoke. I like it, but I'm not sure it's going to make the humidor.

Bitter, chemical, Astringent. Not good

White pepper taste on the lips and a good bit of smoke. Draw was easy and consistent throughout.

Smoke almost burned my fingers wanting to take every inch of the cigar…

Not bad but pales in comparison to the rest of the Oliva line.

Not a favorit, a bit to mild flavor. Still evolving and it’s getting better but so far not super exciting. Doesn’t feel anything when pulling down in my throat. A bit of a hard pill aswell and doesn’t seem to create a lot of smoke. The burn, ash and appearance is really nice. Getting a lot of pyramid ash so the construction is beautiful, maybe a bit hard rolled?

Oliva is one of my favorite brands. The Serie V is my go to stick from Oliva but, the Master Blend 3 is a close 2nd. Real US Connecticut sungrown broadleaf wrapper over Nicaraguan Habano binder and Nicaraguan Ligero filler makes for a number of flavor notes throughout. Cocoa, leather, hay, and I even detected some citrus as well as a little peanut. Never got harsh, even burn and soft draw from start to nub. I always have MB3s in my humidor.

Rum was amazing with this cigar. Flavor of the cigar was incredible. This is my favourite so far, I wished it was readily available.

1st stick in 6 days (due to a change in work schedule), seemed to start out a little harsher than normal, but came right back about midway into the 1st ⅓. Probably just my palate being a little off because of the 6 day hiatus.

Love these sticks! Great flavors, good room aroma. The wrapper and binder had pretty big veins, which caused a few issues with the burn. Took a lot of touch-ups from the halfway point into the final ⅓, but nothing terrible.

Buen tiro al inicio de la llamada. El anillo de fuego no es parejo. Tuvo algunos problemas de apagado en el primer tercio. Cuero y pan. Ligero amargo. Buen aroma. La ceniza no se sostiene mucho tiempo, gris en tonos pálidos. Segundo tercio más cremoso y un poco más amargo. Mejoró la combustión. Muy poco o ningún picante. El Anillo de fuego sigue irregular. Es un handicap. Tercer tercio es igual. Aparecen algunas pimientas y no se siente más el sabor a pan.

This is the 2nd one of these I've smoked. It's every bit as good as the 1st one. Very smooth cigar with just plain good tobacco flavor and room smell. The appearance was a bit rough (looked a little like Sugar Ray after he fought Hagler, lol), and I had to touch up the burn a few times, but nothing terrible. The draw was very good.

Rating may be slightly off. Didn’t allow proper rest and was lit with a blowtorch (improvised)

A little uneven burn with this one- required 2 touch ups. Otherwise, a great smoke!

It was good from the start. Had to touch it up a few times.

Perfect burn and nice draw. No canoeing. Rather spicy.

Gets me a little nicotine sick, second time

Pretty good smoke - woody and earthy, with just a touch of sweetness. An unevem burn and a few relights kept this from a better score. Hopefully, the next few sticks will get better on these structural issues - otherwise taste and strength are terrific, exactly what i expected from Oliva.

Wonderful smoke. Great smooth medium flavor. Espresso and leather notes with some earthy notes. Consistent flavor from A-Z.

So many flavors. Earth, leather, coffee, tea, dark chocolate, burnt toast, and cedar. Aroma is sweet and creamy with almost a bread like smell. Burn even with a solid ash. The draw was a little tight but nothing to ruin this smoke. I'll definitely get more of these.

Very enjoyable.

Volumous white smoke. Fantastic sweet, woody, almost yeasty aroma. Full strength, medium draw. Notes of nuts, earth, wood and spice. Great!

First time smoking one of these and I love the full ritch flavor. Nice draw as well. Not for the weak at heart though!
