Nothing here but coffee and spice goodness! The tapered first provides an intriguing gradual change in the draw that opens up more flavor as you go. Level burn and great construction.

What a fantastic cigar! An unusual shape helps the flavors develop as you smoke. Dar woody, chocolate and nutty notes come and go, the strength increases gradually without getting overwhelming at any point. Great draw, great burn… Highly recommend!
Would definitely try again. Balanced medium profile. Would rest or dry box coming back to it. Wrapper blew up as I got into the second third but called down.

Great flavor, good burn (only had to dry purge or touch-up going into the final⅓. Gonna have to buy more of these so I can refill that purdy box.
Oliva Vs are among my favorite smokes. The 135th Anniversary Edition is right up there.
First off, the box is absolutely beautiful. Then, when you open it up and see the cigars splayed out in a fan, it just says, "expensive ". But, these are below 10$ a stick! As with other Oliva V boxes, it also has a boveda pack inside to help maintain humidity. Packaging aside, these are wonderful smokes. I love the Serie Vs. The 135s give the same general notes & flavors of the normal Vs, but just a bit stronger/fuller.
When I 1st purchased the 135s, I was a little worried that it would be like the Melanio series, and taste nothing like a V because it was a completely different blend. The 135s, as I said, are still a Serie V. The "reverse" torpedo construction gives you a completely different experience because you start out with more wrapper and binder at the beginning, and then the filler tobacco slowly gains . It's kind of the opposite of a shagfoot cigar.
As long as Oliva produces these, I will have some in my humidor.
It was a perfect transition from the very last hour of 2023 to the beginning of 2024. Very mild and soft taste stick. At this moment I can easily see it as my daily choice. Few observations: ashes wasn’t holding for long and my poor choice of drink. With this mild cigar I think something more expresive would be perfect.
Cigar noob but I have found Oliva to be my go to so far. Very smooth and consistent flavor in this stick and paired well with a glass of rye whiskey. Didn't hold an ash for long is my only criticism
Based on the oily appearance, smell and the cold draw, I was expecting a very dark cigar. It was pleasantly milder than I was expecting with notes of leather, caramel, and espresso. Paired with high life, Glen Grant 12 year scotch, coffee, and water. The aroma is fantastic, almost sweet smelling. Perfect draw and an even burn with a little over an inch ash drop. I would say this is definitely box purchase worthy. Great cigar for a camp fire or just a nice day or evening with a good drink. It's the kind of cigar you don't want to put down.
